God's Invitation

Deuteronomy 31:8 - The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

As I meditate on this Scripture, the truth thereof grows stronger within my Spirit. Understand today that the Lord Himself goes before you. He will neither leave nor forake His children. Reflecting on the story of the Prodical son that Jesus  told, I am reminded of the father embracing his son that returned with open arms. God invites us to "Come to Him". He is ready; anxiously awaiting the return of His children. His arms are open and His heart is filled with compassion. Let us then choose Him in this day. He is our strength and fortress. He is the anchor for our soul. It is time for you to return to your Father!

Why are you running away? Why are you scared to return to Him? We make the mistake to run away from God when we fail. Instead of running away in our time of need, we are suppose to run towards Him. He is our answer and our rock. You may have hit rock-bottom and feel that you are not worthy, but allow me to enlighten you. None of us is worthy. We are saved by His grace and His mercy. It has never been my ability or skill that has saved me, but we are all saved by grace. Dont allow lies to fill your heart. "Come to me, I am your everything!"
