Colour Blind

I need you to take a very close look at these two Scriptures:
Galatians 3:28 - There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
1 John 2:16 - For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the PRIDE OF LIFE, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
When we are in Christ, we reject the pride within our life - the pride in culture, language and heritage. We exchanged this pride for unity in Christ! We now belong to the Kingdom of God that is not governed by earthly differences, but it is built on the foundation that Jesus Christ is our Lord and through Him we are now in unity and agreement with each other that stretches far beyond cultural differences and language barriers.

Its time for the church to become colour blind. It's confusing to me when I realized that the world has the upper hand on this matter. As the church, we are suppose to be the implementer of unity among different cultures and races, but this is not the case. Although with our mouth we proclaim unity, it lacks greatly within our actually church gatherings.  Now that we are in Christ, we do not see colour, but we see Christ within one another.
